Charred Cucumber Panzanella

Use Wagyu, well-marbled New York strip steaks, or flank steak for this recipe from 2019 F&W Best New Chef Caroline Glover. As for the panzanella, a crusty, high-quality sourdough will stand up to the seeded salsa verde here without disintegrating.

Carne Asada Clásica

EVA KOLENKO / FOOD STYLING BY CARRIE PURCELL / PROP STYLING BY NIDIA CUEVA Carne asada has its roots in the northern Mexican states of Sonora and Nuevo León, which were home to a thriving cattle industry and consistent access to the freshest and best beef in the country. Balanced by intense umami notes from Worcestershire and dark Mexican ale, this carne asada also gets an underlying sweetness from fresh citrus juice.

Miami Cuban

Miami barbecue has a decidedly Latin accent; grilled steak is often seasoned with mojo. Master griller Steven Raichlen‘s Cuban vinaigrette starts with lots of thinly sliced garlic fried in olive oil and seasoned with oregano and cumin, then gets a blast of zestiness from lime and orange juice.

IGM-AVATAR

“ Every single thing we ordered was absolutely fantastic! So glad we stumbled into this restaurant for dinner. The green beans were the best I’ve ever had! 5/5, highly recommend! ”

“ Loved the food. We tried almost all of the food and they’re delicious! The food were the best I’ve ever had. The bbq pork were my second favorite. The entrees were amazing as well. The restaurant was slow when we got there and we still had to ask for drinks a few times. So service could have been faster but everything else was top notch! ”

“ Yum! Started with the green scallion pancake and then had the braised pork belly. The pancake was light and crispy, not what I was expecting, but it was very good. The pork belly came with mushrooms and quail eggs. An interesting, delicious combination. I love this place. It may seem pricey but remember tip is included in the pricing. ”
